Silver Perfection

Mmmm – more lovely clothes, perfect for summer. Another of the new releases from Fishy Strawberry, the Midsummer Dream top. And another fatpack buy for me. What can I say? I just love Fae Eriksen’s clothes and since the fatpacks are rather cheap, well, not much to consider. And these capris jeans from Lelutka is another rather new item which is just perfect.

Another new thing for me today is, that I’ve joined Plurk. It’s still too soon to say what I think about it but so far, so good. I like the idea of being able to connect with friends from SL even when it’s not possible for me to be on the grid. I’m hoping more friends will join Plurk so I can keep in contact with them. In the closet …

Still playing with pose props. This PolyWall from Diesel Works is so very cool – although after taking these pictures, I wanted to take some other pictures with another color wall – and couldn’t get it to change, even though I logged several times and took out a new wall etc. Not sure why … Maybe just SL acting up… Hm … seems like you can only change color when you’re actually posing in it … I’m a bit confused here – especially since I can’t get the back to change color at all … I know this doesn’t sound good but I still love the prop – I think it’s just acting weird for some unknown reason …

And my hair – look at my hair. Isn’t that the coolest? The style is great – and the color is so fun. Quite a change from my usual hair color – but fun!

<3 new stuff

So when I logged on today, the first thing greeting me was a NC from Fishy Strawberry, telling about new goodies. So of course, I immediately went to the store to see the new stuff. 3 different dresses and a shirt. Needless to say, I had to do some shopping and since I love both the style of Fishy Strawberry and the colors, I walked away with two fatpacks – and I’m probably coming back later for more. Luckily, Fishy Strawberry’s fatpacks are not the most expensive so it’s not the worst place to go and buy fatpacks.

Here we have one of the new dresses – isn’t it gorgeous? It comes in 6 colors and since I bought them all, you’re probably going to see more of this. More newness in my closet is these amazing heels from SLink. I’ve admired them for a while now and well, today I had to have them. And the hair is new from Exile, new at the Dressingroom Blue this week. So much to love right now in SL.

It’s so nice when stuff is so gorgeous that you only have to put on a beautiful dress and some shoes to feel fabulous!

The poses from Thump, I actually got as a ‘payment’ for a ‘model job’. One night, on the Project Themeory group, there was a call for short avatars. I consider myself short so I answered the call – a lot of us did, actually. I wasn’t chosen to be the model for the actual pose sales sign for the store but I was one of many shorties, featured in an awesome shot of all the shorties. Very fun to see so many short avatars when usually, all you see are these tall tall amazones!

Summer is here!

Summer has definitely arrived. It’s so hot here! Not that I’m complaining – with the short summer we usually have, I’m enjoying every second of it. Even though I’m spending most of the day indoors, watching the Wimbledon …!

Good thing then, that I can put on a bikini, spend all day on a beach and relax on a gorgeous raft in Second Life!

The raft is a new offering from Zoe’s Garden. As usual, it has several great reading poses – today, however, I was more in the mood to just relax. And it’s perfect for that whether you want to just lie down with a hand in the water or sit and enjoy the sun – and there’s even couple poses for those so inclined. The raft was part of yesterday’s Moody Monday but with Adele being so busy with the SL Designers Remix event, she haven’t had time to take it down so it’s still available for 55 L$ – but hurry!

On July 1st, the SL Designers Remix event opens. This is a very exciting events in the area of house, garden and furniture design.

Home builders are mixing it it up with furniture, decor, and garden designers to create a unique and engaging shopping experience.

TOSL: Once upon a time …

I’ve been away from SL for a couple of days, only checking in to check messages and sales. But when I started going through this week’s TOSL event, I was really impressed. So many beautiful things. Clothes, pose props, accessories … This is really a great week for TOSL so hurry out and get these goodies.

Art and a Chair

So I went to check out my friends’ Dido and Fabio’s exhibit at Gadget’s Gallery Expo. They show photos from SL – a lot of which have been shown on Dido’s blog but also some new ones. Nice exhibit – lots of sexy pictures. Make sure you go take a look (taxi).

Woe recently came out with these amazing jeans. I’ve wanted to wear them for a while but didn’t get around to them until now. They are so awesome and coupled with this great top from The Plastik and these amazingly cool and pretty Baiastice wedges, this is just an outfit I would love to have in RL too.

What I love the most about SL is to create outfits. To buy pieces from various places and put them together and make something new, an outfit that I love to wear and to look at. Since I’m not much of a builder, that’s how I express my creativity in SL. Sometimes, I get so busy with events and running around looking at everything that I just shop and shop and never get around to wearing it. I have an admission to make. I’ve failed miserably at my own Use Your Shoes Challenge. I’ve given up on it and although I’ve only bought the Decoy boots so far, I have spend some time picking up demos for some of the shoes I’ve been pining after so if I know myself right, there will be lots of shoe shopping in the near future.

The Morning After Tanks from SACRED ROSES are a rather new item and very sheer – or just call it see-through. I’m a modest girl so I don’t wear them alone but they’re fabulous for layering. There’s only one thing wrong with them – they only come in jacket layer. The skirts from G Field was just love at first sight when I saw them – I knew I had to have them in these two colors. They’re amazing! And what’s up with Exile lately? The most amazing hair is released week after week right now!
