Heavenly Boots

So it’s getting a bit colder, the leaves are falling and it’s raining. It’s autumn and it’s beautiful. But the most important thing this kind of year is to make sure to keep warm and dry to avoid getting sick. And the most important thing to do that is some nice boots. So I went today and bought boots. Nice boots. Maitreya Gold boots. Maitreya Gold Shearling Boots. In black. And I love them. I didn’t go to some autumn sim to test them – I went to my favorite sim, World’s End Garden. It’s just so beautiful…

Yes, yes, I know these boots are old – but they are still gorgeous. Well-made, lots of details and so so pretty.

Silver Perfection

Mmmm – more lovely clothes, perfect for summer. Another of the new releases from Fishy Strawberry, the Midsummer Dream top. And another fatpack buy for me. What can I say? I just love Fae Eriksen’s clothes and since the fatpacks are rather cheap, well, not much to consider. And these capris jeans from Lelutka is another rather new item which is just perfect.

Another new thing for me today is, that I’ve joined Plurk. It’s still too soon to say what I think about it but so far, so good. I like the idea of being able to connect with friends from SL even when it’s not possible for me to be on the grid. I’m hoping more friends will join Plurk so I can keep in contact with them. Art and a Chair

So I went to check out my friends’ Dido and Fabio’s exhibit at Gadget’s Gallery Expo. They show photos from SL – a lot of which have been shown on Dido’s blog but also some new ones. Nice exhibit – lots of sexy pictures. Make sure you go take a look (taxi).

Woe recently came out with these amazing jeans. I’ve wanted to wear them for a while but didn’t get around to them until now. They are so awesome and coupled with this great top from The Plastik and these amazingly cool and pretty Baiastice wedges, this is just an outfit I would love to have in RL too.

Well, I’m so behind on blogging looks. I so want to make a LOTD every day but apparently, that’s not going to happen. I change my look (almost) every day but I don’t always get around to blogging it. So here’s two look I’ve been walking around in recently – very different, but that’s one of the thing that’s so great about Second Life!!!

First we have a very spring-time look. A cute short dress, a flower necklace – and flowers in the hair.

Project Fur Japan – now open!

As I’ve written earlier, all donations to JEARS (Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support) will be published on the official blog for Project Fur Japan so everybody can see that the money we spend, will actually go to the right place. The first donation has already been made (see here). The opening of Project Fur Japan was moved to Sunday 9 pm SLT instead of Saturday but already over 2 million Lindens have been collected!

The VKC Polar Bear and the Penguin are BACK!
We are very pleased to announce that the very desirable VKC Polar Bear and the immensely enjoyable VKC Penguins are back on sale again for a very limited period.
From April 2 to April 30 2011 you can get a VKC Polar Bear or a VKC Penguin from our place at the Project FUR Japan Sim.

And from the VKC Dog Parks:

I have to do something for the animals in crisis in Japan. For the next seven days I will donate ALL the revenue from VKC Dog Sales to JEARS.org, the group coordinating animal rescue and support efforts in Japan.
There is something you can do too.  Bring your friends to a VKC Park and adopt a dog.  Everyone who adopts a VKC Dog this week not only gets a wonderful SL companion, they also help someone’s distressed RL companion.  Let’s see just how much money we can raise!

Tomorrow – Saturday – at 9 PM SLT, Project Fur Japan opens officially. I was there today looking around, and let me tell you, there are a lot of great stuff to find. Now, remember, the 270 participating designers are all donating 100% to the charity and also, all proof of money sent will be posted so there’s really nothing to hesitate about. Just shop!

I must admit – that was just what I did today. I’ll just show one thing I bought today – but it’s so very cute so one is enough for today.
