What would Nessie do?

Well, Nessie would hide, plain and simple – that’s after all what she’s been doing for ever!

So when deciding what to wear when going hunting for Nessie, I decided to wear something – surprise, surprise – casual and muted in color as well as – surprise again – my beloved jeans and Docs.

What I’m Wearing:

  • Jeans: Ripped78s (Dark Warm Blue) – by Nena Janus for *League*
  • Sweater: WinterSweater (green) – Babby Zeid for Beatnik
  • Boots: Docs (8 hole F Black) – by by Gospel Voom for Gos

Yeah, yeah same old, same old – except for the sweater. Promise to go jeans-hunting soon!

To go searching for Nessie yourself, go to Nessie Hunt HQ in Inverness City. The hunt itself is very simple – just walk around talking with people, taking pictures and stuff like that. It’s very easy, just involves a lot of walking around. Waaaayyyyy easier than The Twisted Hunt!!!

Here’s the description of the event:

The Nessie Hunt game is free to play, but offers L$1,000 as a first prize and L$500 for the runner-up. In addition there is a special prize of L$10,000. No other game in SL combines real life with fun as innovatively as this. It has even been used as part of university dissertations. The location is a virtual Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands Estate. Game or not it is an absolutely stunning SL environment. THE ONLY WAY TO WIN IT IS TO BE IN IT! You can play alone or with friends. First find eye witnesses, then use cameras, sonar and biological experiments to understand the world’s most famous body of freshwater. Finally set out your cage and see if you can catch a specimen. Game contains real life Loch Ness material. To start click on Adrian Shine at the HQ tent.

Now, according to the website, to be eligible to win the money you need to be a member of both the ‘Nessie Hunt at Loch Ness’ and ‘Highlands of Scotland’ groups. I’m not sure the second group is mentioned in the game, but better safe than sorry, right?
